What steps do you take to stand out from your competition?

The steps we take to stand out from the competition are Fast Turnaround times on our products, great customer service and interacting with our customers on a regular basis on social media platforms. I believe offering great customer service and communicating with your customers on a regular basis is great for your companies reputation.

Do you find social media effective in marketing your business, or do you think it's overhyped?

Social Media Marketing is effective because it allows you to create a personal connection with your clients. We gain clients every day who have found our social media pages organically or through targetted advertising.

How long have you been marketing your business online? What changes have you seen in this time?

Our website is fairly new and was created in 2019. However our parent company website has been online for around a decade and I have witnessed many changes to Google's algorithm in this time. In the past, Google was reliant on Keyword rich pages but now it is about readability, relevancy and user experience.

How much do you rely upon word-of-mouth marketing?

Word of mouth marketing is very effective and shouldn't be ignored. Recommendations in person is a vote of confidence for your company. Also lots of enquiries gained by word of mouth means that your customers are very happy with your products/services.

What's the thing you hate the most about the industry you're in?

The toughest thing about our industry is the amount of products we supply & personalise. This means that targetting keywords for your industry is a very tough task due to the amount of products and services we offer. However, this is also a good thing because it means we never run out of ideas with our online marketing.

What's the most annoying type of spam email that clogs up your inbox?

The most common spam emails we receive are SEO & Web Design companies offering their services for our website. Also we have a lot of digitising companies offering their services for our embroidered logos.

Is the customer always right?

I believe the best policy to have is that the customer is always right. This is because it is our job to be attentive and understanding to their requirements in order to uphold your brand reputation. Meeting your customers needs can go a long way for your businesses reputation and word of mouth marketing.
